QUENCHING THIRST

Started as a journey

To an unknown place,

Just filled with gold

Under useful rocks.

The sea was the fear,

As it swallowed ships

With hardcore belief

In superstition told.

The journey was not easy,

Making people regret

The greedy captain's choice

Of an easy give-up ship.

Time saved them

Half way round the sea

To enter the gigantic ocean

That made them lose lives.

Still determined over greed,

Captain moved forward,

Losing his family and friends,

Finding himself losing diamonds

For quenching his greedy thirst.
